For many people, their clothes and other possessions are an important part of their identity.

Whether these were misplaced, forgotten, or stolen, in losing these objects we might feel as if they have lost a bit of ourselves.

The pain of loss has taught me to be more careful and conscious of my possessions. Only after losing things, have I been able to appreciate how important these ordinary posessions are to me.

Although some were not the most expensive or irreplaceable things, their proximity and time spent on my person made them an emotional a part of me.

Each object in the series has been sketched from memory. After drawing these, I’ve referenced photos of the items online to see how accurately I’ve remembered them.
